Quick Picnic at Ludlow

I came up to my sister's in Bewdley yesterday but as their dog is unwell we had a drive over to Ludlow and a very quick picnic overlooking the castle before returning to the vets in Cleobury Mortimer. Luckily Poppy can be operated on after my sister returns from her holiday next week.

I love this view of the Castle; we often had picnics here when I wasgrowing up.  I'm very fond of A. E Houseman's poetry about the area.
