Another garden

At Carkeek Park again, and visiting another of the special gardens.  This one is the Prairie Garden, which is planted with flowers and shrubs that were to be found on the western prairies when settlers moved west.  When I first moved out here 30 years ago, I drove cross-country and saw this kind of terrain.  At one point, I pulled my car over to the side of the road and went to sit under the only tree around.  It was perfectly quiet, with a gentle breeze, and I sat there and watched a group of bison in the distance.  It was such a moment of peace.  Hope you all are having peaceful days.
