Let There Be Light

In 1970 I spent the better part of the summer working on the Seaside Height's boardwalk. It was an experience I'll never forget and as a result, I have a head full of wonderfully bizarre memories which includes my introduction to The Who's Live at Leeds album and Traffic's Paper Sun. I feel a kinship for the young ones who migrate every summer from Ireland, Britain and other far off places in order to earn their keep. They are a very special breed.

The crowd was thinning by the time I took this shot and most hawkers were weary and bored with their long day, but a young fellow watched me shooting his friend then asked if I was taking pictures for the newspaper! I chuckled at the thought of newspapers, then told him about a very hip Scottish website for photographers.

Here he is hamming for blipfoto! He gets 5 *s for sure!
