moon and gull

It was such a lovely day today that the moon couldn't wait for night time before coming out. I think it possibly forgot that the clocks went forward as well. Of course, since the moon was out the birds couldn't help themselves - they had to fly up and tickle it with their wings.
As I was standind in the calm sun looking out to sea there was suddenly a great whooshing noise followed by another and another and another. It was a gull with a bit of bread being pursued by lots more. They whizzed right by my ear. I had no idea that they were so noisy. iike mini 'planes. I took pics of two eagles and daffs and shadows and . . . but this sort of appealed to me.
