Bullocks

We rounded a corner this morning and there were the cows, chilling under a tree. If you look closely you'll see that the bull is looking straight at us. A woman we saw a while after taking this (having passed the herd quickly with the dogs on leads) told us that the bull attacked a dog the other day. I suspect the dog made a nuisance of itself and the bull retaliated, however, it resulted in the black Labrador being butted and stamped on by the cow. I hope it's okay. The cows seem so peaceful but you need to respect their personal space (even if they don't always respects yours...). My policy these days is to avoid them but sometimes, like today, it's quite hard to do!
