Hollyhock

One of several impressive hollyhocks in the garden that have been doing rather well this year. I'm not crouching for this shot.

The day has been rather less attractive - having to catch up on the administrative in-tray having spent too many weekends shuttling about the country.

Does anyone understand gas bills these days? The first N cubic feet of gas are charged at one price, and the rest at a lower price. Fair enough, but why is N a seemingly random number?
