Cheery
No idea what this little chap is (I'm sure someone on here will be able to tell me) but there were quite a few of them in a bouquet of sunflowers my cousin brought on Friday. Everyone blips sunflowers, me included, so I have blipped him instead. I love receiving flowers - although I rather think these were for Ma and I've just 'adopted' them!
Fantastic day for Team GB - fantastic weekend in fact - I am loving every minute of it. Admittedly I do have to watch it around Ma at times when she get up close and personal with the TV determined wave at people, or tries to engage one of the presenters in conversation. Ever so slightly annoying at medal point during the Murray match I have to admit.
Having visitors this weekend was lovely but any deviation from the usual routine doesn't half stir Ma up a bit. She's been on the go all day, physically and verbally, and seems to have a Teflon bed tonight, I just can't get her to stay in it. Ho hum. Eight times and counting.
We might go to that particular hell known as IKEA tomorrow to look at computer desks for H. At least we can push Ma around easily in her wheelchair and perhaps have some lunch. There's a law of the Universe which states that it is impossible to go into IKEA without spending at least twice as much as you intended but you leave with half as much as you thought you'd bought for the money. And if you haven't got a bag of 200 tealights in your trolley the klaxons go off and you aren't allowed to leave until you have.
