Kormoran

This cormorant was drying its wings after a swim in the Lahn. And if it was any good at catching fish then it would have filled its stomach. There were loads of fish around where this was taken.

After Moot gave us a bit of a fright this morning (he bit me, which is very rare these days), we went to Limburg today to visit I & A. Something that is always really good fun. And so it proved. We went for a great wander along the Lahn, talking about all sorts.

Then into a cafe where Isa had Spaghetti Eis. I can imagine 10 year old me being utterly enthralled by the sight of it. Ok I know it's just vanilla ice cream and strawberry sauce, but I think it's a magic idea.

Then we went for a curry. I was somewhat chary of this as curry in Germany is a very different kettle of spicing. As a rule, you don't get spicy here (some currywurst places are an exception) so when I ordered my dish I hoped it would be spicy but I expected it to be a bit of a disappointment.

I was wrong. It was properly spicy with a lovely amount of chili heat. I loved it.

And now we're back. Moot is on the terrace and seems OK. Maybe we won't have to go to the Vet again tomorrow.
