Cumbria Here I Come

Mellbreak

Looks like the good weather is coming to an end today, so had a trip to Crummock Water this morning to make the most of it.  Misty had a fantastic time as there were some children in the water.  She's not daft as she knows that they always want to play with her and she milks it!  Had a couple of hours there and got chatting to the children's parents.  Today's blip is of Mellbreak which was looking very good.   I was surprised at how few people were about and there were even spare car parking spaces, amazing.  Whilst down by the lake I got chatting (again) to a National Trust Volunteer who was picking up litter!   Apparently there are three of them who go out one day a week collecting litter from around the lake.  He had some stories to tell about what people leave behind, tents, disposable bbq's, clothes, shoes etc!

Walked Misty on the marsh tonight, no sunset but watched the orange moon rising, it was great to see.
