Burgess & Rankin

As well as the Fringe Festival, Edinburgh is also hosting the International Book Festival until the 29th August.  As well as marquee's selling books, there are talks, exhibitions, readings and book signings going on.  We managed to secure tickets to see Ian Rankin (author of the 'Rebus' collection of books) and Tim Burgess (lead singer of The Charlatans) discussing Tim's new book about vinyl records.  Ian Rankin also has a great interest in vinyl records, as do we, so it was very interesting.  I'll apologise now as it's a pretty rubbish photo but I had to get at least one shot of a great evening.  This evening's event was also being filmed for TV.
