Flying high..

On a day when we were driving around in a beautiful Roll's Royce Silver Cloud, it was another Roll's engine that provided the best fun.

We set out with picnic and cameras, beer and smiles, gliding along in real style. Parked and set up it was time to wander around and look at all the other vintage and special cars. Amazing vehicles all around, it was a real pleasure to see so many people with such passion for something having a good time.

The whole event was held at Duxford aerodrome and there was a planned flying display in the middle of the day. We booked to go out in one of the little planes, a classic Dehavalland Rapide, and while we were waiting The Spitfires came out.....

What a wonderful way to finish a fantastic day flying over the lovely countryside after whooping and screaming as the most excellent planes spiralled and whooshed by.
