7:00am Professors morning round. I can go home but need to have another operation soon. The sheath that is in needs some time to let the pipework (ureter) get back to normal and then go back in to clear out a few stones in the kidneys. Prof also has a theory that the ureter reacted badly to the narcotics in the anaesthetics used.
Back home at lunchtime - for normal people - having had hospital lunch at 11:25. In the evening Angie went to her fitness session and I walked the dogs in Sontheim, quickly stopping at the weekly afternoon market for a pint of "Radler" (cycler), 50/50 beer and lemonade.
We walked along the train track when a surprising site thundered by. An "Alex" train - ALlgäu EXpress - a private service which won a few tenders to run two lines, one in northern Bavaria and one here in the south from Munich to Oberstdorf and Lindau. At the last tender in 2014, they lose the rights in 2020 and it returns to the national DB German train network.. Due to track repairs they are having to detour over Memmingen and thus came by.
