Erosion
Of course, the thing about sock yarn is that very few knitters can summon up any level of resistance.
My sock yarn mountain has been much eroded. This is what remains, once the items moved to personal stash for winter knitting have been accounted for (3 pairs for Mr L and, er, 5 balls for me, not all of which may make socks... there's a lacy triangle or two begging to get out of that lot, I think.)
Frankly, I'd have no difficulty in knitting additional socks with these three should they remain unsold. I'm unworried.
I've bid on two more packs, but lower this time and will only have them if extreme bargain conditions apply. One repeat on the Silk Sock plus a different pack of ordinary sock yarn in the Oregon pattern
