Birthday

Today is Tom's 23rd birthday. He has some time off work as is traditional on his birthday and arose at 11'ish to open his cards and presents.

It rained today. It's now mid afternoon and it still hasn't stopped, though it is supposed to. After dropping off Tom at the corner of Albany Road, where he was meeting his mates for an afternoon and evening of enjoying themselves, I went on to Nero where Ann and I ensconced ourselves with coffee and papers.
