Massive Attack - The Spoils ft. Hope Sandoval

After a very long flight and layover I've returned to the opposite side of the world. Hot, sticky but back to my other reality. It was a good day recovering and I'm thankful for all the people helping.

I don't often choose music that I specifically talk about with my blips, but Massive Attack are one of my all time favourite bands and their new material is really next level stuff. Also, Cate Blanchett is one of the best living actors out there who is also from Melbourne like me, although she's infinitely more talented than I am (although she's certainly a person I look up to and strive for in terms of drive and success in my chosen field). I suppose this song and its components are rather apt for my point in time.

I'm more exposed to nights back here and the extreme change only makes more apparent the difference in my lives here in Japan and in Australia.

I don't know where I'm going ultimately but I'm thankful to be here.
