"are you taking a picture of the carpet?"

the words of my Dad as I took this.      Why he thinks I'd do that is a complete mystery... 

I know it is not the done thing to take pictures with the light behind the subject  but I quite liked the  dark and lightness of it all.   Plus it does flatter the old boy.    He will be 90 in November and we have to decide how we celebrate the event.    As fit as he appears I don't think we should spring any surprises on him at that age and no doubt "she" of the "zimmer frame broomstick" will have the casting vote.
