Getting Dressed UP!

The mobile seed dresser came today, on the strength of the weather forecast  we had no ambition to harvest  but to make use of the overhead conditions to stock the larder ready for the drilling season. We save only from last years "new seed first wheats". First wheats are those grown on land that didn't have a corn crop in the previous year, like Osr, carrots, potatoes, linseed or maze etc. 
We cut it fine as  the rain arrived as we tided away and packed up and has stayed all afternoon, looks like a weekend off which has worked out well as we have Mrs A S's cousin and little Harry coming to stay.
Off to start playing catch up with your journals.
