Huelgoat

Today was the French Long Distance Championships based in Huelgoat. The area was, as you would expect, the most technical of the week. Huge rounded granite boulders littered the area and compass work came to the fore. Although the British ran the same course as the championships we appeared separately in the results. A pity as I beat the nearest Fench lady by 10 minutes. At the end we received micro fibre towels with the map of Isle de Batz on them which was a nice way to remember the week.

This is Graham, one of our British contingent punching the last control, before facing a steep climb up to the finish.
