2 huge Beech trees have had to be felled on Greenside (opposite Postman Pat's post office). The shady green is now much less shady, and cynically I wondered at first if they had been felled so that there could be better footage of the end of the Tour of Britain - this green is the finish line (at the top of a steep hill).
