Regrets, she has a few

After the drugs
she kicked the booze.
And then the smokes.

It’s all vegetarianism
and clean living now.

‘What about sex?’

‘I’ll have to
get to know you better first,’
she jokes.

She says she’s lucky to be here.
Many of her contemporaries no longer are.

She is, in fact,
the last surviving member
of her band.

She thought she’d left
that life behind
but she’s back on the road
with a new album to sell
(hence the interview).

And there’s an autobiography
to promote too.

A rock memoir – it’s got the lot
acid, speed, coke, dope and biker gangs
and revels in revelations.

It should do well.
