St Andrews Castle

One of Finlay's friends from school moved to St Andrews at the beginning of the summer holidays. Since I was also good friends with the little boys mum, we took the opportunity whilst staying in Perth to go through to St Andrews and visit them.

Having lived in Scotland all 29 years of my life its quite astonishing that I've never visited St Andrews before! Wow, I'm so glad we did!!!! Such a beautiful place, lots of photography opportunities and we're now planning another visit back in September.

I took this one of the ruins of St Andrews castle from a vantage point next to the cathedral ruins. I love how beautiful it looks :-)
