Butterfly Conservation

A fitting end to the Big Butterfly Count. On our return from Buttterfly rich Dorset, a sunny Sunday morning with many more butterflies than I have seen in our garden this year. Gatekeepers aplenty enjoying the marjoram flowers, whites, a comma and more blues (Holly Blue I think) than I have ever seen here before.

I rescued this Gatekeeper who could not find the way out of my greenhouse ... butterfly conservation in action :-)
