Up the Silk Tree....

Here is Marty, our friendly tree surgeon high up in our late silk tree. A very big specimen, it was growing far too close to our house. I felt very sad to see it go but it was the right decision. Marty had a busy day on our neighbours' property. Another very big specimen tree, a pin oak, hit the dust. This was another tree planted in the wrong place. I know the previous owners of our property., Tina and Bruce, will be pleased it has been chopped down as it shaded our house and cut out a lot of winter sun.
