Calm before the storm

Amazed to find this Gatekeeper butterfly in the garden this morning with the strengthening winds - he obviously hadn't seen the weather forecast this morning!  Been a scarce year for butterflies in the garden unfortunately so just hoping more will appear soon!

So the sunshine has now disappeared and the grey clouds have rolled in - very strong winds and heavy rain now forecast for the rest of the day! Don't you just love Summer?! stay safe everyone!
