Red currant harvest
At last it's done!
My other half did sterling work sorting out fruit while watching the Olympics and I just kept picking.
It's a bit of a marathon at this time of year. The white currants are prolific and so much smaller than red currants that they are a real pain to pick and strip. In fact I decided to just boil them up for juice and make jelly with it later. That saves worrying about the stalks bugs and bits that drop into the mix.
I think I'm going to replace it with another black currant instead.
