Started the day with a run and kept running (of sorts) all day. While my friend is still about we popped up into the hills for a visit and to see the house they're renting. Wonderful views. Most of her gang leave on Saturday and a new bunch turn-up to keep her company next week.

She wasn't feeling great :( but promised our visit had been good for morale. They gave us a tour of the tiered gardens and we found these very funky 1950s chairs that I forced Vidar and her  into for a quick blip!

We couldn't stay long as it's MW's birthday today and we were bringing a dish of salmon, dill and caper potato salad to add to the feast.

Fun night and good to see everyone...my extra photo shows how pretty they'd made the garden tables.
