Wednesday: Coffee Grounds & Cabbages & Peas

Checked on my chard and sea cabbage under net this morning and the slugs have been there again ... spread a bag of used coffee grounds (brought by The Sailor) in the hope of deterring all munching!!
Waved the youngsters off this morning for their long journey back to Twickenham. Always lovely to have our family over.
Another warm and sunny day, I managed to get 3 loads of washing dry outdoors!
MrD brought some fabrication work home and shared bacon sandwiches with the youngsters before they set off.
Forage peas are starting to fill and very tasty too!
