It's a sausage day

I know it's still mid August but there is an 'autumny' feel in the air this weekend what with the rain, my cold, the football. So it's sausage casserole with porcine mushrooms with baked potato and purple sprouting for tea tonight.
One bonus was that I realised today that I had forgotten to share the Portuguese Custards from the excellent Forge Bakery with my fellow executor yesterday! What can I say, they had to be eaten.
