Death on Mull

Salen Bay, Mull, where old ships go to die.

The extra was taken nearby, in the ancient graveyard of Cill an Alein. Now marooned in the middle of a commercial forest it has old gravestones dating back to the Middle Ages. This stone commemorates the local shoemaker who died in 1742. On the back is his hammer and a stylish high-heeled shoe of the period. The graveyard wall is built in the old style. it is circular, ensuring that the devil has nowhere to hide!
