Page Turning.

Today was the first day of the Arundel festival and I had a gig page turning for my piano teacher. She was accompanying a singer on a variety of their old pianos. It was a really nice gig and I was very pleased to have been asked to be a part of it.

Anyway, this is a shot of my teacher's harpsichord. Her husband (Nicholas Plumley) made it from a kit - you can see it painted on the front. And it's quite a nice instrument. Not completely my bag, but I can appreciate how nice it is.

A bit disappointing that Tom Daley didn't get into the finals. He looked a bit too relaxed to be competitive. Other than watching the Olympics though, I really haven't done much with my day at all.
