Culture Night

The weather for Reykjavík marathon and culture night was perfect, warm and sunny. We visited two museums, the national art gallery and a short chamber music concert in the Norðurljós hall in Harpa, where this photo is from. It was wonderful day.
The extra is a "great auk" (geirfugl), a bird that could not fly and of which the last one was killed in Iceland in 1845 or thereabout. It was in one of the museums we visited.
