Haven't got a clue(do)......

A mixed day of weather with rain on and off.
It must be a weekend as was greeted by a dead cow first off. She had milk fever on Tuesday but didn't look like calving last night . However found the calve was coming tail first and dead inside her so a double loss.
Had to go and help bring in a cow with a dead calf next door with wee brother. Luckily we had a spare twin calf so job sorted.
The 15 bulling heifers we bought were delivered this afternoon so feeling a bit short of funds tonight ! Managed to sell some barley to my cousin this afternoon too so that will help the bank balance a wee bit, but not near enough .
Mrs F and Littlemiss off to the book festival again today. The author they saw was apparently very good. Finished off the evening with Littlemiss teaching me how to play Cluedo. Needless to say she won !
