It's coming up Roses!

A wonderful day at the Olympic Golf - men's final. The course was looking beautiful (wish the greens at our club were half as good) and we were able to fight our way to seats in the stand at the 18th to watch the last seven or so groups come in. Holding our breath as Stenson and Rose came in neck and neck, then watching poor Stenson miss those crucial two putts, allowing Rose to claim his gold - but of course, we were overjoyed to have a Brit win the first Gold for Golf (even if we don't really think it should be an Olympic sport).

Cool comment by Padraig Harrington to his co-players as he left the 18th - ‘Now we’re Olympians and no-one can take that away from us’. I love Padraig.
