Today's the day .......................... for gathering storm clouds

We had every sort of weather possible on our journey home to Kendal today.

From cloudless blue sky and sun - to black clouds and torrential rain that meant you had to slow down almost to a standstill because it was impossible to see to drive.

This great towering bank of cumulonimbus clouds was just to the south of Kendal. An impressive sight ............................
