Late bloomer

This ancient tree stands on the block between Trinity Episcopal Cathedral and St. Mary's Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. 
Maybe its vibrant health is the result of being surrounded by prayer?

As somewhat of an antique myself, I find this wealth of blossoms encouraging.
