Marbling

Another lovely day today.  Sebastian, Sarah, Ben and I went out to Legends Cafe in Pleasant Point for brunch.  They had not been to Pleasant point before but we didn't really have time for a good look around this time.  Maybe on their next visit.

We headed home after eating because my father and brother-in-law had phoned to say they were on their way to visit.  That made today pretty special - with two different aspects of family.  S, S and B headed off shortly after Dad and Mike arrived as they had to get back to Christchurch, but at least they were able to stay a little while so that Sebastian could say hi to his Great Grandad and Great Uncle Mike.

Mike and Dad didn't stay longer than a cup of tea either, as they had come from a conference in Queenstown - they'd been on the road 4 hours and still had about 7 hours of driving ahead of them to get home to Nelson.

Once all the visitors had left I did some housework, then sat back in my reading room to enjoy a book.  I woke 3 hours later.  Hmmm, didn't get much reading done!

It was dark by then, so an inside blip tonight.
