Saturday: Cooling Centre

We are having a bit of a heatwave at the moment, hence the opening of extreme heat cooling centres. Personally, I am not finding the heat that extreme but who am I to judge.....apparently, these centres are available for people to pop into to cool down. This is at our local library.

We had a productive day. We headed to our local high street and found a dry cleaner. We also managed to join our local library which we are delighted about. We tried a few weeks ago but didn't have sufficient proof of address. Anyway, today we succeeded and if was great to browse through some different stuff. We have come away with a few good things. And I have an appointment for a haircut - finding a new hairdresser is always one of the big challenges.

In other exciting news, we now have ID cards and the appropriate visas which means that finally we should be able to open the long awaited bank accounts and then finalise on the car that we are buying. Fingers crossed.
