Spinning a good yarn...

S went off up North camping so G and I went to a Yarn festival in Broughton. Wasn't quite what we expected when we walked into the village hall - there were about 30 women, mostly barefoot sat at spinning wheels. But very interesting to see nonetheless.

Followed by a wee refreshment stop at the lovely Laurelbank Tea Rooms and then back to NMB for a roast and a good catch up. A lovely ladies afternoon.
