1 of 4 Crop picking
Kent is known as the garden of England and it is so obvious why, at this time of the year, when all the farmers and crop pickers are out harvesting. This group of men (probably East European) were out picking radicchio which were boxed up and would shortly be on their way to the supermarkets. The fields of various lettuce stretched for acres and acres and appeared to be at various stages of readiness.
These photos were taken outside of the medieval town of Sandwich on a walk in the Stour valley.
