The mizzly deep
In the middle of Parc Shady is an area most people don't realise exists. A succession of former Cress Beds or Trout Ponds, depends whom you talk to.
Nowadays they are deep, dark, mulch filled ponds, just by my right foot there was an otter, holt, no longer inhabited. Bugs fill the ponds, as do some gorgeous lilies. A tranquil spot where folk can walk past within feet of you and without Flossie doing her showgirl routine, nobody would know you were there.
Mme Flossie is experiencing her autumn phantom season. For the next ten days she will be even more stubborn, rude and deliberately bloody minded than normal. She was threatened with insertion of my walking pole to turn her into Kebab filling this morning. Love her to bits. :-)
Best in large with the black border.
