Whimsy and humour in the garden at Malthouse Farm, Streat, open this afternoon under the National Gardens Scheme.

(We asked the gardener if anything had actually nested in the teapot beside the window. He was pretty sure nothing had, but agreed it was a nice idea to imagine that something one day might.)
