And the answer is ...... eavesdropping on bees. At Kew Gardens today for a wander and to see 'The Hive' - a beautiful metal installation - channelling the communication of bees in a remote hive. Upstairs you could stand inside the meccano-like hive and listen to them hum. Downstairs you could bite a lolly stick , put it in the sound box , cover your ears and hear them talk to each other. Super!
