Melbourne Cup Commission

My best friend in Australia has recently started a new job, where they 'dress up' for the Melbourne Cup. Her uniform is red and blue, and she asked if I could make her something very British and elegant for the ocassion.

Despite the chaos inbthe house I found an old red silk dress that I have repurposed, and though this is a work in progress, I think she will look stunning. Just have to work out how to ship it when complete, other than carefully with lots of bubble wrap!
