For 7 years my shed has been a good lair for spiders. This biggie wasn't happy when I uncovered her nest and egg pouches as part of the clean up operation. For the next few days and I assume up to the point where they hatch, she has stood and will stand guard against any intruders. I imagine there are a fair few of us who would fear to tread here...

I hope the buyer of my flat isn't arachnophobic.
