Movie

Sebastien walked to and from market this morning...we bought the most amazingly juicy nectarines in which we indulged after lunch.

We haven't had the TV on since Sebastien was born, but we decided to show him his first movie tonight: Le Ballon Rouge / The Red Balloon. Yes, I went for an old classic instead of anything new...and it was  a great hit.

We set up dinner as an indoor picnic downstairs and Sebastien had a hard time remembering to eat as he was so intent on the movie and on telling us what was happening to the balloon. Then he declared quite seriously "That was a really good movie!" (as if he had any basis for comparison) and repeated that statement several times throughout his bath and until just before he fell asleep. He's probably dreaming of balloons right now...
