Viva The Olympics! Viva Rio!

This has been a wonderful 16 days, living and breathing the Olympics. Such a relief that at least up to and during the Closing Ceremony, pretty much everything has gone well, despite all the unreadiness, a few watery hitches and the tragic death of the German coach. Let's hope the warmth and enthusiasm of the Brazilians will have won hearts and minds.

Too tired to say things properly or write more, but I have just LOVED these Olympics. Now roll on the Paralympics - and please let them be as happy a surprise as these
