Not more flowers ..

but a peacock sheltering under our front porch!

It was a very wet night and has been and abysmally wet and drizzly morning. The peacock surprised us by sitting on the balustrade on our front porch. It flew off when we surprised it but soon returned, so I think it must find this a reasonable place to shelter.

He's gone for now as it has dried up and is warm and sunny. I took this really to show that he has now lost most of his long tail feathers.

He has another strange habit of pecking my husband's car - any ideas?
