Did they ever meet?

I often see these on the way to work, however today I was a passenger and the traffic was slow enough to capture them. So, did Marilyn and Elvis ever meet? Apparently, yes, in June 1960'when they were both at the same movie lot.
We went to a modern cinema today and watched the Swallows and Amazons film. A great film, beautifully done and we can thoroughly recommend it.
