It's brightening up. ..

John and I had the day off as it's my birthday. The plan was a walk and a pub lunch, but the weather wasn't very cooperative. The forecast claimed it would brighten up after about noon, so we decided to go with the planned walk from jumbles country park, via wayoh reservoir to the strawberry duck. We got very wet!
Had to abandon the circuit of Turton and Entwistle reservoir as the puddles across the path were deeper than my walking boots.
And yes, it did brighten up as we drove back up our road when we got home.
