Seven

That's how many miles The Girl Racer and I walked around London today. Thank god for coffee shops and other watering holes. This was the Scootercafe in Lower Marsh which does a damn fine cup of coffee and is packed with memorabilia of the fifties or thereabouts - including original film posters and a rusty Vespa in the window. Took lunch in Wholefoods and had a less than enjoyable coffee in The Baltic Cafe. We explored lots of back streets and ended up doing Marylebone, Mayfair, Soho and Fitzrovia after lunch. Daunts and Foyles were our bookshops of choice and a fine time was had by us both.
